Green Building and Design
The HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges achieved the BEAM Plus New Buildings (V1.2) Provisional Platinum on 9 July 2014. The Residential Colleges adopt environmental-friendly measures, e.g. Application of renewable energy systems in rainwater and grey water recycling systems, air-conditioning, lighting, and installing solar panels on rooftops for power supply in corridors and general lighting.
